How Your Tokens Are Used

We deduct tokens for every successful search result. The number of tokens used will vary by search category, depending on the complexity of the information returned.

Understanding Token Deduction by Category

Each search category has a base token cost. This covers a standard search result of approximately 500,000 words. More extensive results within a category may consume additional tokens.

Usage Notifications

We'll send you notifications when your token usage reaches 75%, 90%, and 100% of your total allocation.

Token Distribution

Tokens are assigned to your admin user upon purchase. Admins can then distribute these tokens to other users or use them themselves.

Tracking Your Usage

Individual users can view their own consumed tokens by category. Admins can view all consumed tokens, broken down by category and user.

Transaction History

A detailed transaction history is available for all purchased tokens.

Token Top-Ups

You can purchase additional tokens on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Token Expiration

All purchased tokens are valid for one year from the purchase date. To reactivate any unused tokens after this one-year period, you must make a new purchase of Query Tokens. This new purchase will roll over all existing unused tokens and extend their validity for an additional year from the date of the new purchase. Any subsequent top-up purchase will also extend the validity of all currently available tokens (including rolled-over tokens) for one year from that top-up date.

Bulk Token Purchase

For purchases of 10,000 Query Tokens or more, special bulk pricing will be applied.
